It’s that time of the week again, friends – time for the latest, greatest TORWars podcast! This is a special show, simply because this was a very special weekend. Everyone who had signed up for beta testing at SWTOR.com was invited to test the game this weekend! Of course, for most people, this was their first hands-on experience with the game, and their excitement is palpable. (No, seriously, it is. Feel free to palpate it.)
What do we talk about on this week’s show? As usual, we run the gamut, covering SWTOR stories from all over the galaxy for your listening pleasure. Of course, we thoroughly dissect the stress test beta weekend (and we evaluate the results), we discuss the latest press impressions of The Old Republic, we pimp out the latest video guides by the epic raiding guild Condemned, and we introduce the newest community manager to join the team over at BioWare.
There is nothing funnier in gaming that references to obscure breeds of fish. Nothing.
Beyond this, we discussed the nuances of stuffed game servers, the not-so-ugly reality of gaming queues, BioWare’s impressive Jedi Consular progression video, and the surprisingly good space combat game to be found in SWTOR. In the middle of all of this, of course, we also mix in the usual number of PG rated bad words, pedantic jokes, and references to our near-constant state of inebriation. In other words, it’s a very good show.

Hey boys! Just found out about this site today (lol) and ive listened to some of the pod:s .. Liked em but got pissed on the latest pod
Really dont understand why speak about lag when u dont know what is ment by it 
One of u said that u were playing on the West and live in East (or vice verce) and didnt have any lag at all.. Then the other guy said that u turned off “some graphics” and the lag went away 
This made me giggle and finally get a little mad bcouse that doesnt have anything to do with the other LAG issues 
Dont get me wrong now i really love the pods ive listened so far, and i dont whine on u just bcouse , i do <3 u
Otherwise i couldnt agree more on alot of what u were talking about. Esp about the current state of the game, very smooth, very stable to b a BETA game..wich is pretty amazing to me tbh. All the mmos ive tryed, and trust me, ive prob played around 50mmos and betad even more then that since the BEST mmo ever made (and frst graphical) Ultima Online.
I could really go on a rant here on individual aspect of the game that are "finished" but in terms of "finished" vs other mmos in beta AND released many of them are WAAAY ahead of them..:D

Loved the show.
I don’t get much out of the beta weekends since I work the weekends, so I appreciate your perspective on things I won’t get to for a while. I’ve never got to the space mini game for example but I think I’m going to like it. I don’t really feel sympathy for those who wanted something more free reign because quite frankly I would probably have a hard time with that. This way it’s more accessible. Why does accessible sound like a bad word these days? :/
I wanted to know too is your theme song available as an MP3? I need that on my ipod…
