TORPeople, it’s time for another nifty Star Wars: The Old Republic photo gallery. This evening we’ll take a quick look inside Carrick Station on the Republic Fleet. This is where Jedi, Troopers and Smugglers arrive upon leaving their Origin Worlds. On Carrick Station you’ll select and train your Advanced Class, run your first Flashpoint, The Esseles, and begin your crafting adventures by grabbing some helpful Crew Skills. The station is pretty much laid out in a giant circle with a cantina at the center. All paths lead to a hearty tipple. Just how we like it.
*Note: I was experimenting with my Fraps screenshot settings and saved these shots as jpgs. They ended up a bit dark and oversaturated. Unfortunately, there wasn’t time to re-take them as Beta was ending. Still, the pix aren’t bad and give you a nice look at the station. Rest assured, the place looks nicer in-game on high graphics settings.

SWTOR Community Cantina Audio: Q&A Live With Musco, Hickman, And Schubert
is Carrick Station named after Zanye from the KoTOR comics?
I take it the “Carrick” name is a nod to Zayne Carrick from the KOTOR comic series?
This reminds me, anyone know whether the game’s built-in screenshot feature has been fixed (all the screenshots I tried to take over Thanksgiving weekend ended up as solid black images)?
Yeah, screenies were fixed for the following weekend.
Hmm–I need to check my screenshot folder, then. Bet I have a lot more than the ones I saved in Paint and tucked into my screenshot folder on my desktop.
Partying in the cantina on Carrick station is fun, though I had to turn my graphics way down so that the lag didn’t kill my fps.
Ive got a question for anyone that knows….
On the 14th picture ( the one with aurebesh writing behind the chubby twilek)Ive figured out the 3 symbols are as follows; dorn, grek, and besh…..which represents D G B, anyone have any clue what that means? or am I translating aurebesh in-correctly?
