Remember when the only thing that you thought was missing from BioWare’s Star Wars: The Old Republic was some Star Wars themed Hip Hop tunes to go along with the epic war brewing between the Republic and the Empire? Well, fear not TORWarriors – SWTOR fan and Hip Hop artist Richie Branson has created a free SWTOR Mixtape for your listening pleasure.
Richie started messing around with some samples from the SWTOR soundtrack to make a song that wasn’t really all about Star Wars, but it eventually led Branson to write some funny ‘Nerdcore’ songs directly involving SWTOR topics. Branson sings about Huttball, life as an Imperial Agent, looking for a group, leveling up, and more. The songs are all very lighthearted and even per Branson himself – the whole mixtape was created for entertainment purposes, and is not meant to be taken seriously.
There’s even some in-game music videos created to the songs, you can check out one of them below. If you want to download the whole mixtape and hear Richie Branson’s own words on the whole thing, head over here. That’s it for now, TORWarriors!
