All of the above at a price tag of $449.00. Is it worth it? I think so.
While surfing around I caught wind of something spectacular, something so great that I absolutely must have it. If you’re saying a box of bonbons with a side of chocolate milk, then you’d only be half correct. I want the new Kinect Star Wars bundle that Microsoft is going to be releasing in Aprilish. We’ve mentioned this here before, but more hard details are beginning to emerge: the price of the bundle is actually $449 (not $349 as previously reported), it features the first ever white Kinect controller (presumably to match the console), a nice C-3PO themed X-Box wireless controller, and the Star Wars Kinect game itself. To be honest, I only want it for the R2D2 themed console which comes with some custom sounds, but I’ll gladly accept the rest of the offered treasures.
Get the Xbox 360 Limited Edition Kinect Star Wars bundle, with the first ever white Kinect Sensor and custom-designed console and controller based on popular Star Wars characters R2-D2 and C-3PO. Use the Force like a Jedi and immerse yourself in the Star Wars experience you’ve always dreamed of, in ways you never imagined possible.
About the game:
Feel the Force as you transform yourself into a Jedi. Experience the power of the Kinect platform as it brings the Star Wars Universe to life like never before. Using full body motions, live out the ultimate Star Wars fantasy, no controller required.
Now I can break out my custom Count Dooku lightsaber (though it’s not needed!) that I built at Disneyland and have me a swingin’ time!
Here’s some more pics to make your eyes go all buggy.

R2-D2 themed design comes complete with custom R2 sounds.

Custom C3-PO game controller to get your grimy paws on.
Good golly! With this new bundle and all these fun gaming peripherals being released I’m going to be one poor gamer, but I’ll be a happy one! May the Force be with you and don’t hit your Grandma with a lightsaber, or at least arm her with one too before you do! Cheers!

I only wish that they would of engineered the kinect to look like R2′s periscope so it could go on top of the xbox.
I have the old xbox360 and this is the only thing that has kept me from buying the new S model. Ive had mine pre-ordered for some time now. I cant wait. The R2 sound files make me giddy. I also had wished the kinect sensor itself had been styled as well, not a fan of all white, but /shrug.
Not exactly new news (didn’t TORwars already cover this 2 weeks ago?) but cool nonetheless. I bought a 360 S last year and don’t want to go through the hassle of transferring console ownership because MS has restrictions on how often they allow it. But if I were in the market for one I’d get this edition. So sexy. Beep boop beep.
Anybody catch the TV ads for SWTOR, by the way? Caught one running here in Norway today.
