BioWare reminded us today that with the maintenance scheduled for tomorrow, the Life Day Cartel Pack items (Life Day Robes, Life Day Orb, Czerka Celebrator Mount, Life Day Holo Tree and Tinsel Bomb) will be removed.
Buy them before its too late!
Today is your last chance to purchase the items from the Cartel Market. If you are still looking to get them for any of your characters, they are on sale in the market. At almost 20$ USD, it is a pretty steep cost for some social items and BioWare was criticized for this move as most other major MMO’s celebrate in game events by giving these items away or offering them through other in game means.

I want to forget this ‘event’ asap.
It was pretty much what I feared BioWare would turn SWTOR into and I hope they’ll never do it again.
I can’t believe people actually bought that stuff. There is so much bang for your buck to be had on other items. That and the fact just like there’s that one house in your neighborhood with lights still up. There will be someone cruising around with “life day” lights and a snow blower on their mount for the rest of the year.
I hope that this entire fiasco was the last misstep Bioware makes in regards to SWTOR. They need to get on the ball and not piss off their fans(Those of us still around.), and try to get those who left back. Do they need a PR consultant? I can do PR. I can do lovely PR. In fact, I think a good PR strategy would be this for them. “Will this run the risk of pissing off some of our customer base that does not include balance and whatnot? If yes, don’t do it. Just stop. Don’t take that step. Don’t pull that trigger. For the love of god, stop it.”
…And, got the Tinsel Bomb and Life Day Orb I was planning on getting with half an hour to spare.
