Alan, Kenobi is due to be released Sept 24th, according to Amazon.
This was a really good episode. I think you made a wise decision with the direction of the show. I think that the show is really coming together. I might be beginning to miss your sultry voice though, just kidding. Seriously though, I think if you have the time, it would be really nice to have you back on the show in a small segment. Maybe you could end the show with one of your tutorials?
I think a movie based on Palpatines rise even before episode one would be cool. Though they do already have a book about that “darth plageous”
unfortunately, I couldn’t watch this episode, as the video is banned in germany.You apparently played some music without the copyrights to do so, so the GEMA,shut it down on youtube. Don’t know what is different from the first two episodes, as I could watch them with no problems at all.

Its because i used the Star Wars theme. Not much i can do about this.
i would like to see them do a movie based on vader and palpatine hunting down the rest of the jedi. yeah, they took out most of them at the end of R.O.T.S. but then there is about 20 years in there where they hunt down the ones they missed and consolidate power across the galaxy. plenty of material there for a movie or two. you could even do that as a obi-wan story and how he avoided being captured while staying current with the underground. leia had to hear of him from somewhere
Was it only me that was horrified to watch Alan shooting a video on his (seemingly hand-held) iPhone while driving around with his wife and child in the car????
Maybe it’s because here in the UK using a mobile phone while driving has been illegal for 10 years now, but it doesn’t seem that a video podcast segment is worth putting your own family and other road users at risk for.

I’m siding with Nick here buddy. It’s also illegal here in Canada. If you and your wife preceive no danger in that, then you’re fooling yourselves. =/
Definitely want to see the Boba Fett movie, and take the life of a bounty hunter as far and murky as it can get. Also, as the world of Bourne turns…imperial agents don’t really get any love in the movies! I doubt there would be any initial interest on a solo movie, and they’ll have a ways to go before imp agents look cool enough to lead a Star Wars movie, but I bet Disney will be running this as far as it can…
A Darth Vader movie, hands down. Or a Darth Caedus movie would be awesome, but probably not going to happen.

I would so like to see a movie about Lando and Han before you see them in cloud city in Empire Strikes Back. Unfortunately the characters are alot older so I don’t know how they could pull it off. Unless they were alot younger but I don’t know about that. It would be bad ass if they could though.
The other one could be Kenobi,I would love to see kinda what happens between Revenge and New Hope. Would be cool to see him go back and talk to Qui-Gon like Yoda was telling him.

Movie ideas – Boba Fett would be an awesome idea. Maybe something from the Old Republic time period would be good to, maybe not a direct game tie in, but a nod or two would be good.
It would be cool, but not sure Disney would go for that. After all, it’s about the bottom line and I am not sure that the Old Republic time period has the mass appeal that the main movie characters have. It would be EPIC though!

Hey Alan I can’t believe no one has said this yet, but the Star Wars “backstory” movie that I think would be a huge block buster hit is the story of Mace Windu.
You would appeal to a huge mass audience in Samuel L. Jackson.

The news segment was great with the visuals and the just-the-fact-ma’am style of reporting. Although I enjoyed the RP segment by Fynn, I’m not sure this is the right medium for that. Not that it wasn’t good, it just didn’t flow well with the other pieces. The editorial by Alan was great, if fo no other reason than he got his kids to sit quietly during the entire segment. As a father, I can say that’s no small feat.
As a suggestion for future episodes, I would definitely reccomend a Best in slot and/or Theorycrafting segment. I would take one class, and discuss the options for end-game (PvE or PvP). Possibly explaining the Pros/Cons of relic choices, augments, stat percentages, and talent builds…
