Hello TORWarriors! We’re back with a vengeance and in this first podcast episode of the week we have a pretty full lineup of news and info for your listening pleasure. As you know, Brian was out sick for a week. He seems to be feeling much better although, it is now my turn to possibly take some time off as we welcome the newest member of the TORWars crew this coming Monday, February 18th. On the plus side, Jeff is like a very angry sarlacc pit and doesn’t get sick, so he’ll be the more consistent one of our crew of merry people.
Sometimes a spa day, even on Kashyyyk is necessary for every good Wookie to feel good.

Game Update 1.7 Dropping TODAY!
- ● BioWare announced late friday that 1.7 dropping today, Tues Feb 12th
- ● No PTS cycle
- ● No testing of char transfer system yet as Joveth Gonzalez said
- ● Tully Ackland told Brian the reason for no PTS was so that the event was not spoiled before it went live
- ● Event will go from 2/12-2/26
- ● Will no public testing harm this update?
More Reputation System Details
- ● Legacy Titles – Legacy Titles are a new kind of title that is displayed beneath your character’s name, in place of your Legacy surname title
- ● Legacy of Heroism – bound to your Legacy instead of your character
- ● Reputation and the Galactic War – Faction reputations are linked. Earn rep with a republic faction on the republic side, imperial legacy characters gain the corresponding rep on the imperial faction
- ● Earning Reputation Points -
- ● Reputation Trophies are consumable items given as mission rewards
- ● The amount of points granted by a Reputation Trophy is indicated by the quality of the item – Premium (small), Prototype (medium), or Artifact (large).
- ● There is a weekly cap on gained reputation, however you can continue to gain trophies from missions, but not consume them

● Voss – earn rep by completing weekly mission for Voss Heroics
● The Gree Enclave – earn rep from Relics of the Gree Event Missions and Event Bosses

People discovered recently that some some text appears on the screen about a chill in the air or something in that cave in TFB but didn’t know how to activate it. The guild must have just gone in and tried the amulet.
Happiness is the fact that the Imperial and Republic space missions reputation is cumulative across your legacy. I flew some Republic heroic missions, then switched over to an Imperial toon and lo and behold I had reputation on the Imperial fleet.
I guessing/hoping the same will hold true on the Section X reputations.

Been with this show since the start and-
Think the relaxed part of the show is gone, just a rush
to get to the next part.You talk so fast and try to get
things away with a few laughs it just goes flat.
Think this is because you try to get it all in a 30
ninute show because now you record 2-3 shows on sunday
and split them up thru the week.
Also after the intro and hello you go straight to the news
were Brian does most of the talking until he is out of breath
and there is a few more laughs and you go straight to last 10
minutes of the show were you give shoutouts to others and tell
us to listen to them etc.
As a whole the fun relaxed quality have gone down bigtime.
Better to have a 1 hour + show were you relax and talk about
things in general then to rush it like some TV news show because
the comersials is coming up.
I noticed this as well but imo this is only due to the fact that there is not so much to talk about at the moment. There has been a 9-10 week break now where nearly nothing exiting happened and no big patch was announced.
I’am pretty sure that Torwars will come back to the old – more discussion based format – once there is more to talk about.
Also with with fam Hollis having a new little princess its just natural that they have many other things on their mind than tor
We hear this as often as we hear that the show is too long. So we spend time and do two shows, one midweek where we engage in more free-form talking. No other podcast does this for their listeners that we know of. We can’t please everyone no matter how hard we try.. If what you want is a more “chatty” cast, then the midweek is for you. It comes out on Thursdays (usually). Enjoy.

To answer Brian’s question, there are no minor Snarls, except two furry ones–a GSD and a GSD/GR mix–and to Deidre’s, there is a Mrs. Snarl. While we’re fairly private people, she is not a Private, but the Captain…of my heart! (In other aspects she is the Admiral…nay the Empress). : )

Have you guys thought about having a Lore section, ala “LoreWars”, in your podcasts? I’m sure you have a lot of RPers and I think it would be appreciated by all the listeners. I know you have a couple articles that fall under lore, but I mean the more impprtant topics like Revan, Taris’ past, etc…
Just a thought. I’d be happy to help put some topics together.
